Did Not Attend

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Sadly, we still have problems with patients not showing up for appointments with the Doctors and Practice Nurses. This causes a huge amount of wasted time, and means that other patients need to wait longer to get an appointment, and some sick patients may not get seen. If you know you are not going to be able to make it to an appointment, please let the surgery know as soon as possible so that another patient may use your time slot.

We often have problems with patients showing up late for appointments. This results in all patients booked in after you having to wait longer to be seen. If you are more than ten minutes late, the doctor may not be able to see you.

A GP appointment is not always needed. Sometimes medication queries and discussing test results can be dealt with on the phone. If you think this would suit you better, please ask one of the receptionists to make you a telephone appointment with a GP.
