Loudoun Medical Practice is made up of two GP surgeries in Darvel & Newmilns in Ayrshire, and is run by Dr Kondol and Partners. This website has details about the two surgeries, the services we provide, health advice and links to other helpful sites.
We offer routine appointments with any doctor and these can be booked in advance by telephone or at the Surgery. Telephone appointments are available for those not needing an examination.
We also offer on the day appointments for those that need urgent medical attention. To book one of these our trained reception staff will ask you for a brief description of your medical condition to make sure you are directed to an appointment that best suits your needs. If you would prefer to have this conversation in private please phone in or ask to speak to one of our reception staff in private. Appointments will be with whichever doctor is available and it ensures that even during our doctor shortage those that need to be seen can be seen.
Please continue to telephone for medication requests, sick lines, nurse appointments and to book appointments with our physiotherapist for muscle, joint and back problems.
Our practice takes pride in offering the highest standard of healthcare. As well as normal GP clinics, the practice also offers a wide variety of other medical services including chronic disease clinics, antenatal and postnatal care, sexual and reproductive health services (including the fitting of coils and implants), joint injections, travel advice and vaccines, child health surveillance and immunisations. We also undertake non-NHS examinations for HGV, fostering and adoption medicals.
